"Who are you?" they asked,

to be, you will indeed die in your sins."
Now this is our boast: Our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world,
and especially in our relations with you,
in the holiness and sincerity that are from God. We
have done so not according to worldly wisdom but according to God's grace.
For God, who said, 'Let light shine out of darkness, made his light shine in our hearts to
give us the light
of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
Such confidence as this is ours through Christ before God. Not that we are competent in
ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. He has made
us competent as ministers of a new covenant-not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter
"I do not accept praise from men, but I know you. I know that you do not have the love of God
hearts. I have come in my Father's name, and you do not accept me, but if someone
else comes in his own name, you will accept him. How can you believe if you accept praise
from one another, yet make no effort to obtain the praise that comes from
the only God,?
